NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF A DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT (DEIR) FOR THE SAN JOAQUIN RIVER PARKWAY MASTER PLAN UPDATE.

The purpose of the proposed Master Plan update is to present updated goals, objectives, and policies for the planned 22-mile regional natural and recreation area, and to envision potential future uses, improvements, features, facilities, and management measures to be implemented. The DEIR finds the proposed Project would result in significant unavoidable environmental impacts related to Agriculture, Air Quality, Greenhouse Gases, and Hydrology.

Beginning May 1 through June 29, 2017, the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) is available for public review at the following locations:

  • Woodward Park Regional Library, 944 E. Perrin Avenue, Fresno, CA 93720

Please send written comments on the DEIR to Melinda Marks, Executive Officer, San Joaquin River Conservancy, 5469 E. Olive Ave., Fresno CA 93727, or email them to Melinda.Marks@sjrc.ca.gov. Comments must be postmarked or emailed by June 29, 2017.

As part of the public circulation process, the Conservancy Board will hold an informational meeting on May 3 at 10:00 a.m., at 5469 E. Olive, Fresno CA 93727.  No action will be taken at the Board meeting.
